The ranch is nestled along a mile stretch of the Yakima River and below the Alpine-like peaks of the Stuart Range in the Cascade Mountains of the Kittitas Valley. Situated near the historic town of Thorp, between Cle Elum and Ellensburg, Red Hawk on the River is located in the heart of Washington, just 90 minutes southeast of Seattle.
Kittitas County, renowned for its sunshine, diverse landscape and outdoor recreation, offers a myriad of sport activities, including hiking, horseback riding, golf, fly fishing, mountain biking, rafting, rock climbing; and, winter sports including cross- country and downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing.
